Monett,MO : 2 injured in one-vehicle wreck on September, Sunday 3rd 2017

Two Purdy residents were injured Sunday in a wreck at 2:20 a.m. on Farm Road 2070, two miles west of Purdy.

According to a Missouri State Highway Report, Joshua Yardley, 27, of Purdy, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a fence and overturned, ejecting the driver.

Yardley suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A passenger in the vehicle, Carla Schad, 47, of Purdy, suffered minor injuries and sought her own treatment.

Schad was wearing a safety device, and Yardley was not. The vehicle was totaled.
