Omaha, NE : Woman, 69, dies after minivan and pickup collide at 168th and West Maple on Wednesday, March 8th 2017

Omaha police have identified the driver who was fatally injured Wednesday morning in a crash at 168th Street and West Maple Road.

Linda DeBolt, 69, of Omaha, was in a Chrysler minivan that was eastbound on West Maple about 5:15 a.m. when the minivan went through a red light and struck a southbound 2015 Chevy pickup, police said. DeBolt was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with CPR in progress. She died shortly after arriving at the hospital, police said.

The driver of the pickup, Thomas Falcone, 52, of Omaha, was not injured.

West Maple was closed at 168th Street until 9:45 a.m. while authorities investigated the crash.
