A Los Angeles police officer and another driver suffered minor injuries when a patrol car collided with another vehicle in North Hollywood.
Sergeant Tom Gahry says the officer was responding to a call late Friday on Burbank Boulevard when the other car pulled out of a side street.
The two vehicles collided and the cruiser then side-swiped a parked car and hit a light pole.
The officer and the other driver were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Gahry says the officer was not using lights and sirens when the collision happened.
The crash is under investigation.
