Hampton Township, PA : 2-vehicle collision on Route 8 in Hampton on Tuesday, 9th October 2018

Route 8 in Hampton reopened about two hours after a vehicle collision closed the road in both directions Tuesday evening.

Allegheny County Emergency Services confirmed the two-vehicle collision near the Route 8 intersection with McCully Road blocked traffic in both directions while police investigated.

The incident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle just after 6:30 p.m. Emergency crews were able to leave by 8:20 p.m.
