JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO : 1 dead after tire failure leads to single-car crash on Thursday, 12th September 2024
A Cedar Hill man is dead after a single-car crash in Jefferson County on Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at around 6:25 p.m. on Thursday, a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 was traveling too fast for conditions and going westbound on Missouri 30 at Hillsboro Road when the car’s right rear tire failed. The car spun into the median, ejecting the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt. The driver was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver has been identified as Alexander Hedrick, 31, of Cedar Hill, Missouri.
This crash was investigated by MSHP Troop C and Jefferson County Deputies.
