WAUPACA COUNTY, WI : 17-year-old is dead after two-vehicle crash in Waupaca County on Highway 45, half a mile north of Cty Hwy N on Sunday, 10th February 2019

A teenager is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Waupaca County Sunday afternoon.

Deputy Huberty says the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on Highway 45, half a mile north of Cty Hwy N around 4:23 p.m.

Authorities say a 17-year-old boy from rural Fremont lost control of his vehicle, crossed over the center line and hit another vehicle.

The names of those involved are not being released at this time.

Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, Bear Creek Fire first responders, New London Gold Cross, Wisconsin State Patrol and Waupaca County Highway Department all assisted at the scene.
