Fort Collins, CO : Fort Collins man seriously injured in crash on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020

A Fort Collins motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision that closed Prospect Road in both directions for 3½ hours Tuesday.

Police announced the closure on Twitter about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, about a half hour after receiving a report of a crash at Whitcomb Street and Prospect Road.

A Yamaha motorcycle traveling west on Prospect had struck the rear passenger side of an eastbound Audi sedan that was turning left onto Whitcomb, according to a Wednesday news release.
