Tallahassee, FL : One person injured when car crashes into canal in Jupiter on Saturday, 24th September 2016

One person is in critical condition after crashing into a canal in Jupiter on Saturday night, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The person was taken to an area hospital for treatment after being pulled from the car, which left the road and became submerged in the canal along Indiantown Road just west of the Riverbend Park entrance, said Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Albert Borroto.The vehicle, which landed on its roof, was pulled from the canal about 9:45 p.m., nearly three hours after it first entered the water.

No further details were available Saturday night.
