Dane County, WI : Passenger killed, driver injured in Town of Berry crash on June 14th 2014
The passenger of a car that spun out of control in the Town of Berry in Dane County was killed early Saturday, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.
The driver was seriously injured. The sheriff's department said that the car was moving too fast and that alcohol was believed to have played a role in the accident.
The car, a Honda Accord, was southbound on Martinsville Road at High Rise Road when the driver failed to make a curve in the road. The car struck a tree.
The driver was taken by helicopter to a Madison hospital.
The sheriff's department did not immediately identify the driver and passenger.
