WATERTOWN TWP, FL : 1 dead, 1 seriously injured in Clinton County crash at the intersection of Clark and Francis roads on Friday, 27th December, 2019

Two people were killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash west of DeWitt.The crash happened about 2:55 p.m. at the intersection of Clark and Francis roads.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office said the driver of a Chevrolet Impala stopped for a stop sign on westbound Clark, then pulled into the path of a northbound Ford pickup truck.

The driver of the sedan was dead at the scene, while a front-seat passenger in the car later died at Sparrow Hospital, officials said.

The driver of the pickup was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
