Burlington, WI : 67-year-old man died in a rollover crash on State Highway 36 in Racine County on Monday, Oct 19, 2015

A 67-year-old man died Monday in a rollover crash in Racine County, the sheriff's office said.

The crash was reported shortly after 11:30 a.m. on State Highway 36 south of Yahnke Road in the Town of Burlington, according to a news release from the Racine County Sheriff's Office.

According to the release, the man was the lone occupant of an SUV that was southbound on Highway 36 at a high rate of speed before it veered over to the left shoulder of the road.

The driver appeared to overcorrect the vehicle, which crashed through a guardrail on the right side of the road and rolled over, ejecting the driver.

The crash remained under investigation, according to the release.
