Oklahoma City, OK : A Milburn man died in a Johnston County crash on May, Sunday, 21st 2017

A Milburn man died in a Johnston County crash, and a woman from Comanche was struck and killed by a car on an highway in Idaho, authorities said.

Bryson D. Paulin, 26, Milburn

About 12:20 a.m Sunday, Paulin was driving a pickup east on State Highway 78 about a mile west of Milburn. The pickup went across the centerline and struck a westbound pickup, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.

Paulin, who was not wear a seat belt, died at the scene, trooper said.

Velvette R. Skaggs, 27, Comanche

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, Skaggs was standing in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 95 near Hayden, Idaho. She was struck by an SUV and died at the scene, Idaho State Police reported.

They said it was not known why the woman was standing in the road, but the investigation is ongoing.
