Bedford County, TN : 17-year-old killed in head-on crash on US Highway 41 in Normandy on Saturday, April 30, 2016

A 17-year-old was killed in a head-on crash in Bedford County Saturday.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on US Highway 41 in Normandy.

Officials say 17-year-old Eli Grow was traveling northbound in a Nissan pickup truck when he crossed the center line. He then hit another truck traveling in the opposite direction head-on.

A man and woman in the other vehicle were injured, while Eli’s car burst into flames upon impact.

He was a senior at Tullahoma High School where he was a quarterback and captain for the football team.
