A 22-year-old man is dead after the pickup truck he was driving hit a house in central Wisconsin. Tony M. Modrzejewski, of Birnamwood, died after striking a house near the village, according to the Shawano County sheriff's department. The incident happened at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Highway 45. Three people inside the house did not require medical attention at the scene. A 21-year-old male passenger from Wittenberg was taken by helicopter to a hospital.
