Kittanning, PA : Speeding, drinking may have led to crash that killed Pennsylvania man on rural road in North Buffalo Township on Sunday, Nov 29, 2015
A coroner says speeding and drinking may have led to a crash that killed a western Pennsylvania man on a rural road.
Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers says 25-year-old Ronald Heuston, of New Kensington, died of head and torso injuries suffered in the crash about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in North Buffalo Township.
Police determined Heuston lost control of his car on Ford City Road near Falsetti's Villa Restaurant, hit a rock barrier, utility pole and some trees before stopping about 100 yards away.
Police say Heuston wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Toxicology results from Heuston's body were pending. But the coroner says it appears Heuston had been drinking and may have been driving too fast when he crashed.
