Tucson, AZ : Driver who crashed into pole, wall near Grant Road and Tucson Boulevard on Wednesday, Sep 2, 2015

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a driver to lose control of a car and crash into a wall in midtown Tucson.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 2 near Grant Road and Tucson Boulevard, in the parking lot of the Kingfisher restaurant, 2564 E. Grant Road.

According to officials a black car reportedly ran into a light pole and then into a brick wall. Tucson Electric Power crews were out at 7:15 a.m. to repair the pole.

Tucson police officers on scene believe the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. No word on how many people were in the car or if anyone was hurt.
