Kissimmee, FL : Pedestrian hit and killed by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 17-92, near Broad Street on Saturday night, December 12, 2015

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash at the intersection of U.S. 17-92 and Broad Street.

According to troopers, Kevin Walter, 27, crossed the southbound lanes of U.S. 17-92, outside of the crosswalk. Walter directly in front of an oncoming car and was hit.

Investigators said Walter was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
