RUTLEDGE, MO : Boy, 5, injured in crash on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016

A 5-year-old boy suffered minor injuries Saturday morning in a crash in Scotland County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Natalie Clark, 16, of Edina, Mo., was on Country Road 200 southwest of Rutledge, Mo., when the 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora she was driving traveled off the left side of the road and overturned. The 5-year-old passenger was injured and taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo. Both occupants were wearing seat belts. Clark's vehicle sustained moderate damage.

The Scotland County Sheriff's Department assisted.
