Orlando, FL : Three taken injured after crash involving unmarked deputy vehicle on Thursday, December 4, 2014
Three people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after two crashes, one of which involved an unmarked deputy vehicle, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were responding to reports of a burglary in the 8000 block of South Orange Blossom Trail around 2 p.m.
Officials said a deputy in an unmarked Sheriff's Office vehicle spotted the suspected vehicle and attempted to make contact.
The driver of the suspected vehicle allegedly backed his vehicle into the unmarked patrol vehicle and fled the scene, causing another crash nearby, deputies said.
Three people, including the driver of the suspected vehicle, were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
