Lehigh Acres, FL : ATV crash leaves 5 minors injured in Lehigh Acres on Sunday, 8th September 2024

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a crash between a Toyota Camry and an ATV left at least five minors injured Sunday evening.

The crash occurred approximately at 7 p.m. in Lehigh Acres.

Authorities said the minors suffered injuries that were “not incapacitating.”

The Camry was traveling south on Karen Avenue, approaching a four-way intersection.

The ATV was traveling west on 20th Street approaching the intersection.

That is when authorities said the front of the car collided with the back of the ATV.

According to FHP, the driver of the Camry was a 26-year-old Fort Myers woman with two children in the car. They were not injured in the crash.
