Lauderdale, FL : Woman arrested after car plows through house in Lauderdale Lakes on Thursday morning, Nov 19, 2015

Authorities say a woman crashed her car into a South Florida house.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that the car slammed into the Lauderdale Lakes home early Thursday morning after failing to negotiate a curve in the road.

A man and a woman were in the house, and the woman sustained cuts to her leg.

Every room of the house was damaged except for one bathroom.

Jachles says the car's driver, 21-year-old Nicole Danielle Bailey, initially left the scene but then returned, wearing just a bra and pants, asking if anyone had seen her car. The spokesman says deputies found marijuana in the car's center console.

Bailey was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash. She was being held without bail. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
