Allentown, PA : I-78 east closed in Berks after crash on Sunday, January, 14th 2018

Officials have closed I-78 eastbound at the Shartlesville exit following a multi-vehicle crash while westbound traffic is under a lane restriction.

The multi-vehicle crash was reported about 5 a.m. By 6:30 a.m., officials closed the eastbound lanes in Upper Bern Township. By 7:25 a.m., officials had restricted lanes on westbound I-78.

State police have not released information on the crash, however, news reports indicate there were no injuries but road conditions are icy.
