ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO : Eight people injured in three-vehicle crash in St Francois County including four juveniles on Saturday, 7th September 2024

Eight people were injured, including four children, in a three-vehicle crash in St. Francois County on Saturday afternoon, September 7.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. on Route K near Saffell Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, the crash occurred as a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta attempted to pass another vehicle on a blind curve and traveled into the path of a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier. The Volkswagen hit the front of the Chevrolet.

The impact caused the Chevrolet to rotate and travel into the westbound lane, striking a 2018 Dodge Challenger.
