JACKSON, MS : 1 juvenile dead, 2 injured after crash involving stolen vehicle in Jackson on Saturday, 4th May 2024

One juvenile is dead and two juveniles are injured after they allegedly stole a vehicle in Jackson and crashed.

According to the Jackson Police Department, on Saturday around 8 a.m., JPD Precinct 1 officers responded to a call regarding a brown KIA SUV stolen from a woman’s home in the 1600 block of Dorgan Street.

Around 11 a.m. the same day, JPD Precinct 1 officers responded to a wreck located at 2718 Benwood Drive.

Upon arrival, Jackson Police found three Black male juveniles lying on the ground near a wrecked KIA SUV. The vehicle was identified as the stolen car from Dorgan Street.
