EAST MONTPELIER ,VT : Woman accused of assault after crash on August, Friday 4th 2017

A local woman is facing criminal charges after police said she assaulted the passenger in the other vehicle after a minor two-vehicle crash in which she was one of the drivers.

Olivia Hill, 19, of East Montpelier, was cited to be arraigned in Washington County criminal court on Sept. 14 for simple assault.

Police said the “minor two-car” crash, which was not described in the press release, was reported on Friday around 7:20.

Police said the crash, on Cherry Tree Hill Road in East Montpelier, involved Hill, driving a 2010 Audi Q5, and Jordan Preman, 16, of Plainfield, driving a 2011 Ford Fusion.

The person Hill allegedly assaulted was a passenger in the Fusion.
