Las Vegas, NV : 71-year-old pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run in downtown Las Vegas on Friday night, April 22, 2016

A 71-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run Friday night in downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Also according to police:

The man was crossing the dimly lit street outside of a crosswalk about 10 p.m. on East Bonneville Avenue, near Eighth Street, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver fled.

The man killed will by identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
