All lanes of westbound Interstate 80 are closed Thursday in the Sierra due to a deadly 16-vehicle crash near Crystal Springs in Placer County, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash happened about 11:05 a.m. between Cisco Grove and Emigrant Gap. As many as 16 vehicles were involved in the crash, and at least one person was killed, the CHP said. Traffic is being diverted at Kingvale. Drivers were advised to expect long delays. The roadway is not expected to reopen until 6 p.m. Thursday. Capitol Corridor bus service between Truckee and Colfax has been canceled Thursday. Bus 3543 will turn at Truckee and return to Reno. Bus 3549 has been canceled, and Bus 3534
