WESTFIELD, IL : Charleston man killed in collision on Clarksville Road on Friday, 10th January, 2020

The Illinois State Police has reported that a Charleston man was killed Friday morning when his passenger car was involved in a head on collision with a semitrailer on the Clarksville Road in Clark County.The State Police reported that Wade C. Schaefer, 32, was driving east at 6:19 a.m. on Clarksville Road, just east of Cleone Road, when his car crossed into the westbound path of a semitrailer driven by Matthew W. Locker of Knightstown, Ind. Police reported Schaefer died at the scene of this crash, which occurred between Westfield and Mill Creek Lake.
