Sunbury, OH : Two seriously injured in crash on North Galena Road on Saturday, November 12, 2016

Two men are seriously injured after a crash in the 5800 block of North Galena Road.

It happened around 4:12pm Saturday on North Galena Road south of Todd Road in Kingston Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 33-year-old Christoper Fout was driving southbound on North Galena Road when he drove off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree and a fence.

Fout and his passenger, 37-year-old David Laughrey were both transported to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

It’s unknown if the men were wearing seatbelts at this time. Alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor in the crash.

The road was closed in both directions near the crash.
