Fort Wayne, IN : A woman is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash on Thursday, September 14, 2017

A woman is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash early today at Main Street and Leesburg Road, police said.

Officers arrived in the area about 1:30 a.m. and found the victim on the sidewalk. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. She was not wearing a helmet, police said.

Officers believe the woman was north on Main when she lost control of the bike. No other vehicles were involved.

The crash remains under investigation.
