A bicyclist was killed in Brooklyn after a chain-reaction crash Monday night, authorities said.
Police said the driver of a 2012 Honda Accord was traveling west along Avenue P in Midwood around 10 p.m. when it blew through a red light and hit the driver’s door of a 2015 Infiniti Q50, which was rolling through the intersection at East 12th Street.
Both cars then careened into a cyclist, pinning his body between two parked cars.
The man on the bike was taken to Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released Tuesday.
The driver who caused the accident was taken to Lutheran Hospital with chest pain. Charges against him were pending.
The Infiniti driver was treated at Kings County Hospital for minor neck and back pain, cops said.
