South Pasadena, FL : Georgia woman hurt in pedestrian hit and run in Pinellas on Saturday, December 27, 2014

A Georgia woman visiting Pinellas County sustained serious injuries in a pedestrian hit and run, authorities said.

St. Petersburg police located the vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, but no arrest had been made by late Sunday.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of Pasadena Avenue South in South Pasadena late Saturday night.

Nicole Donnelly, 24, of Marietta, Ga., vacationing in the area with family, attempted to flag down vehicles on Pasadena Avenue after a domestic dispute about 11 p.m. Saturday.

A northbound vehicle on Pasadena Avenue struck Donnelly then left the scene without stopping.

Donnelly was taken to Bayfront Health St Petersburg in critical condition.

Authorities described the vehicle involved as a white sedan, possibly a BMW, with damage to the right front, windshield or right side.

A vehicle matching that described was found hours later at a residence on 28th Avenue North.

No charges have been filed.

The investigation is continuing.
