Cumming man killed in motorcycle crash in Georgia
A 23-year-old Cumming man was killed Tuesday morning when his motorcycle collided with a car.
The accident happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Highway 369 near the Two Mile Creek Bridge.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Cpl. David Garrison said Charles Griffin Hall had just crossed the bridge when he hit a Mazda Wagon head-on.
The Mazda driver tried to swerve, but was unable to avoid hitting Hall's motorcycle, Garrison said.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene. Garrison said he was wearing a helmet and alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.The Mazda driver was treated for minor injuries.
