Brookline, MA : State Police name 35-year-old motorcyclist from JP killed in Brookline crash on April, Monday 3rd 2017
A motorcyclist was killed during an early morning collision with a car on the VFW Parkway near South Street in Brookline, according to Police.
The Brookline Police got a call about 7:45 a.m. this Monday reporting a motorcycle and a car had collided on the VFW Parkway.
State Police said a 2012 Mazda 5 was turning left onto South Street from the VFW Parkway on the northbound side when a 2005 Yamaha FZ6S traveling southbound on the VFW hit it.
Michael Donlin, the 35-year-old driver of the motorcycle from Jamaica Plain, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to State Police.
The operator of the Mazda, a 53-year-old woman from West Roxbury, was transported to Faulkner Hospital for treatment.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Brookline Police warned drivers via Twitter of a traffic alert so that commuters would avoid the area.
