Tuscaloosa, AL : Jimmy Templeton, 34, killed in car accident on Bear Creek Road near Tuscaloosa on early Sunday morning, September 28, 2014

A 34-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning his truck overturned two miles away from Tuscaloosa. Sgt. Steve Jarrett of the Alabama State Troopers said the driver, Jimmy Templeton, was on Bear Creek Road two miles east of Tuscaloosa in the predawn hours of Sunday morning. Jarrett said Templeton's 1999 Chevy Trailblazer left the roadway and overturned. Templeton, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was critically injured. He was pronounced dead at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa at 2:30 a.m Sunday. Jarrett said no other information is available and Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the accident.
