Reno, NV : Pregnant killed in a wrong-way crash on Somersett Parkway on Friday, August 5, 2016

Reno police say two drivers, one of whom was pregnant, were killed in a wrong-way crash.

Authorities say the head-on collision happened around 11:45 p.m. Friday on Somersett Parkway.

Responding officers found both drivers unresponsive with life-threatening injuries.

Police say one driver was clearly pregnant.

She was rushed to a hospital but doctors were unable to save her or her unborn child.

The other driver, who investigators say had been driving the wrong direction, was also pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police have not determined if alcohol or drugs was a factor.

The identities of both drivers have not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
