A 31-year-old motorcycle rider from Williamstown was killed in a crash on Tuckahoe Road in front of the Star Cross Fire Department on Sunday afternoon.

Alexis Schulz was unconscious and unresponsive when police arrived at the scene, despite medical and fire department personnel performing CPR on her, according to the Franklin Township Police Department. Schulz was transported to Kennedy Hospital in Washington Township, where she was pronounced dead.

She was the third South Jersey woman to die in a traffic accident over a three-day period.

Police said a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Charles Brady, 23, of Franklinville was traveling northbound on Tuckahoe Road and was making a left turn into the Star Cross Fire Department parking lot when the crash occurred with the motorcycle that was heading southbound on the road.

Brady and his passenger reported no injuries at the scene, police said.

Tuckahoe Road was closed for nearly three hours following the 1:34 p.m. crash as police investigated the accident. Motor vehicle summonses are pending the outcome of the investigation, police said.

Assisting at the scene were the Star Cross Fire Department, Inspira Paramedics and the Gloucester County EMS.

On Saturday morning, 23-year-old Samantha Wenzel, of the New Lisbon section of Pemberton Township, died when her car went off Junction Road at Mount Misery Road, hit a tree and overturned around 1 a.m., according to Pemberton Township police.

On Friday, Ariana Williams, 27, of Florence was fatally injured in a crash around 2 a.m.

Williams was a passenger in a car that hit a utility pole on West Front Street, said Florence police. The driver in that accident, off-duty Burlington Township police officer Justin Rodriguez, 25, was critically injured.
