Terry County, TX : South Texas man killed in Terry County rollover crash on Sunday, 9th September 2018

A 41-year-old man from South Texas died in a single-vehicle crash early Monday in Terry County.

Marco Antonio Ramirez of La Villa was driving a Chevrolet passenger car southeast on FM 303 near Wellman when, investigators believe, he disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of FM 303 and U.S. Highway 62, according to Sgt. John Gonzalez with the Texas Department of Public Safety. His vehicle traveled south across the center median and across the northbound lanes.

The Chevrolet traveled into a ditch east of U.S. 62 and struck a metal structure before flipping end-over-end and coming to a stop in the pasture.

Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.
