Pensacola, FL : 68-year-old Caroline Pepper killed, and two people injured in collision with alleged driver at 69th Ave and Lillian Hwy in Escambia County on Wednesday afternoon, February 17, 2016

The Florida Highway Patrol said charges are pending against a driver who caused a fatal accident in Pensacola.

The accident report said Darrel Daise, 32, ran a red light at the intersection of 69th Ave and Lillian Hwy Wednesday afternoon.

Daise's car hit another car, flipped, and ended on top of a third vehicle.

Caroline Pepper, 68, was in that third car.

She died a short time later at Baptist Hospital.

Daise, and the driver of the second car both suffered serious injuries.
