Orlando, FL : Pedestrian killed after pickup collide with car on East Colonial Drive at Bennett Road on Thursday night, March 3, 2016

Orlando police are investigating a deadly overnight crash. Detectives said the man ran into the road and was hit by two cars.

It happened on East Colonial Drive at Bennett Road just after midnight. The westbound side of Colonial was shut down for hours, but it has since been reopened.

OPD said the victim was first struck by a pickup truck. Officers believe the driver couldn't avoid the pedestrian.

But a short time later, a second car struck the victim.

The man was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
