A Crestwood woman died Sunday after crashing her car into a tree along Highway 53, according to the Oldham County Police Department.

Kelly Williams, 46, was alone in her car headed north on the highway when she hit the tree just after noon, according to a police statement.

The Oldham County Coroner's office declared her dead at the scene, 5000 Route 53.

The Oldham County Police Department has asked anyone with relevant information to call 502-222-1300.
