BRIDGEWATER, MA : One hospitalized after Bedford Street crash in Bridgewater on Wednesday, 12th December 2018

An 18-year-old woman from Bridgewater was hospitalized after a crash on Bedford Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
A 26-year-old man driving a black Chevy Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound on Bedford Street towards the center of town when he collided with the woman, driving a white Dodge Avenger sedan, coming off of Grove Street.
The truck struck the sedan on the driver’s side, shattering the sedan’s driver’s side window. The front and side airbags in the sedan deployed upon impact.
The woman was transported to Brockton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Fire Chief Thomas Levy said. The driver of the truck was uninjured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
