PORTLAND, OR : 8 people killed in Harney County crash on Monday, 13th August 2018

Eight people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in eastern Oregon on Monday.

The head-on collision occurred a little after 10 a.m. along Oregon 78 near milepost 30 southwest of Burns, Ore., Oregon State Police said.

Capt. Timothy Fox, an agency spokesman, said he didn’t immediately have any more information on the crash, including the identities of the people involved, the circumstances leading up to the crash and if anyone survived the collision.

He said he didn’t believe he would have more information until Tuesday.
