Ottumwa, IA : One person injured after two-car collision causes rollover on North Court Street on Tuesday afternoon, March 29, 2016

A two-car collision on North Court Street sent one person to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of a north-bound car on North Court Street turned in front of a semi and a second car traveling south. The north-bound vehicle rolled over after colliding with the second car. The semi avoided the collision.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.

Police Sgt. Becky Martin said the driver of the rolled car was initially trapped but was eventually able to exit the vehicle and was conscious when officers arrived. He was taken to Ottumwa Regional Health Center, where he is expected to recover.
