Kilgore, TX : Ashley Brooke Norris, 31, killed in a two-vehicle crash at U.S. Highway 259 in Kilgore on Thursday afternoon, December 18, 2014

Police have identified a woman who was killed Thursday afternoon in a Kilgore crash. Assistant Chief Roman Roberson said at 2:04 p.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at U.S. Highway 259 North and I-20. Investigators determined a car heading southbound on 259 hit a truck-trailer which had exited I-20. The car struck the back of the truck-trailer as it was trying to cross the highway. The driver of the car was identified as Ashley Brooke Norris, 31, of White Oak. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
