Perry, MO : Woman injured after a collision in Ralls County on Saturday, JULY 23, 2016

A Monroe County woman was taken to the hospital Saturday after a collision in Perry.

Dorothy L. Johnson, 77, of Paris, was driving east on Mo. 154 in Perry at 11:45 a.m. and slowed to make a left turn. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Kirkland E. Cunningham, 20, of Perry, struck Johnson's vehicle in the rear.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices, according to a report. Johnson had minor injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by Ralls County Ambulance.

An accident report indicated there was moderate damage to Johnson's 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis and it had to be towed. There was minor damage to the 2006 Chevrolet pickup, which was driven from the scene.
