MILFORD, DE : Driver died in single-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon July 29th 2014

Delaware State Police say a man was killed when the truck he was driving left the road in Milford and hit a utility pole.

It happened about 2 p.m. Tuesday near Prime Hook Beach. Troopers say 56-year-old Michael Indellini of Townsend was traveling north on Cods Road when his truck left the road and hit a utility pole, snapping it in half.

Indellini was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he may have suffered from a medical emergency that caused the crash.

Indellini's body was taken to the medical examiner's office. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
