Rochester, N.H : Child injured in collision involving car and bicycle on Thursday, June 19, 2014
Rochester police said a child was injured in a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Thursday, sending the child to the hospital.
Officers say a 70-year-old driver was pulling onto North Main Street from the Rochester Tire parking lot when the child rode by on the sidewalk. The car and bicycle collided, and the child ended up on the hood.
The child, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Frisbie Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
