Aurora, TX : A motorcycle crash involving an adult male at Pena Boulevard on Saturday, 14th August 2021

A motorcycle crash involving an adult male at Peña Boulevard and 40th closed down the southbound side of Peña Boulevard on Saturday night, according to Aurora police.

In a tweet, police said there was no evidence of any other vehicles involved in the crash, and that the motorcyclist has been pronounced deceased.

Investigators think the rider hit a guardrail while traveling southbound on Peña Boulevard, south of 40th Avenue. Police say it is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Identity of the motorcycle rider is currently not being released, police said in a release.
