Allentown, PA :Monroe County diner owner killed in motorcycle crash on Wednesday, 13th June 2018

The owner of the Meadowbrook Diner in Effort was killed Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed between Kunkletown and Brodheadsville, authorities said.

Travis Beers, 42, of Kunkletown, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Monroe County coroner’s office. Beers’ father, Rick, 47, died in a motorcycle crash 16 years ago.
